Kisir with Dry Mint

En Turkía

This was the first Turkish recipe I have ever tried. I discovered that it was so easy to make and so tasty, I loved it! The first time I tasted it was at my friend's house Lily. I remember we had such a good time. My friend loves Turkish food, so do I!

Ingredients
2 cups of bulgur (fine wheat)
5 cups of water
1/2 yellow onion
1/2 cup parsley
2 fresh tomatoes
1/4 dry mint
2 Tbsp. pepper paste
Lemon juice
Salt

Preparation
Boil water, when it is ready set aside and add bulbur. Let it soak for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, cut tomatoes and parsley. Drain the extra water from the bulgur and mix the cereal into vegetables. Add pepper paste, salt, dry mint, lemon juice and mix everything very well. Chill for one hour before serving.
¡Buen Provecho!
